The League of Women Voters Leelanau County will host a panel discussion on “The Migrant/Seasonal Worker Community: Inside Leelanau County” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, in the lower level of the Government Center in Suttons Bay.

The League of Women Voters Leelanau County will host “Understanding the May 5 State Ballot Proposal, What Is It? What Would It Do?” on Wednesday, April 1, at noon in the lower level public meeting room of the Leelanau County Government Center.

The League of Women Voters Leelanau County will celebrate Women’s History Month with a potluck lunch and presentation at noon on Wednesday, March 4, at the Leelanau County Government Center. Bring a dish to pass and a festive place setting. Drinks will be provided. During lunch there will be an informal discussion of women who have impacted our lives and an entertaining quiz on women in history.

The League of Women Voters Leelanau County Big Picture Society will be held at the Old Art Building at 111 Main Street in Leland on Monday, March 9, at 4 p.m. The Big Picture Society features films of public interest on current political/environmental and/or social justice topics on the second Monday of the month from October through June.
