League of Women Voters discusses “Challenges Faced by Leelanau County schools”

On Wednesday, March 2 at noon in the lower level of the Leelanau County Government Center the League of Women Voters Leelanau County will host a forum entitled “Challenges Faced by Leelanau County Schools”. Panelists will include superintendents and principals from Northport, Leland, Glen Lake, Suttons Bay, St. Mary’s, The Leelanau School, Pathfinder and Leelanau Montessori. They will discuss educational challenges ranging from funding, school numbers, testing to on-line learning.

The public is invited to the presentation. Many people bring a sack lunch. A LWVLC business meeting will follow the presentation.
