League of Women Voters studies consequences of worker shortages in Leelanau County

The League of Women Voters Leelanau County (LWVLC) will host a forum entitled Local Consequences of Worker Shortages in Leelanau County on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at noon in the lower level community meeting room of the Leelanau County Government Center. The panelists will be Bob Sutherland from Cherry Republic, Skip Telgard of The Bluebird Restaurant and Sam Simpson from the Leelanau Peninsula Economic Foundation. These local business representatives will share the challenges and solutions to securing a reliable workforce.

The public is invited. Many people bring a sack lunch. LWVLC business meeting to follow presentation.
