Towards an Age Friendly Leelanau: How do we get there?

The League of Women Voters Leelanau County (LWVLC) will host a forum entitled “Towards an Age Friendly Leelanau: How do we get there?” at noon on Wednesday, May 3, in the lower level of the Government Center in Suttons Bay.

The LWVLC Age Friendly Leelanau Committee has been studying elements of Age-Friendly communities and reviewing how Leelanau County is doing with respect to those elements. Four reports will be presented: April Missias on community support; Chris Palmer and Phil Mikesell on health care; Mary Tonneberger on transportation; and Pamela Smithbell on housing.
