Glen Arbor Arts Center unveils community tree

From staff reports

Come one, come all! Help light a corner of Glen Arbor for the holidays.

The Glen Arbor Arts Center (GAAC) will light up its neck of the woods and you are invited to participate. On Saturday, December 5, the GAAC will light the path from Lake Street to the Arts Center and present a community tree. The tree will remain lit for the season, though New Year’s Day. The GAAC will invite the community to stroll by throughout the holiday season to take a look, snap photos, and spread the cheer.

Contribute an ornament and become a part of the celebration. Make sure it can withstand rain, snow, sun, and wind. Ornaments can be store-bought or home-made, simple or ornate. The plan is to have fun, celebrate the season, and help lighten things up a bit.

Ornaments can be store bought, or made at home. Contribute more than one. Participation is free. Drop your ornament off at GAAC by December 1. Direct questions to Michele at communications@glenarborart.org.
