Tennis star Emilio Sánchez Vicario hosts Glen Arbor clinic

Emilio Sánchez Vicario, founder of the Sanchez-Casal Academy, the top leading Tennis Academy in Europe and one of the most prestigious in the world, located in Barcelona, Spain and Naples, Florida, will host a tennis clinic in Glen Arbor on Saturday, August 9, beginning at 8:45 a.m. at the Glen Arbor Public Tennis Courts (rain location to be determined), as well as at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme on Sunday, August 10, beginning at 9 a.m. Sánchez Vicario is offering both Junior and Adult players the opportunity to learn the Spanish methodology of training that has proved so successful in the last 15 years. Top world players, such as Andy Murray, Gregor Dimitrov, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Daniela Hantuchova, Martina Navratilova have all trained under the philosophy and coaching of the Sanchez-Casal Academy.
Sánchez Vicario’s career highlights include: no. 7 singles ranking in the world; no. 1 doubles ranking in the world; 15 ATP singles championships; 50 ATP doubles championships; 2 French Open doubles championships and 1 mixed doubles; 1 US Open doubles championship and 1 mixed doubles; Wimbledon doubles finalist; Masters doubles finalist; Olympic Silver Medalist in doubles; and Davis Cup Champion as a coach in 2008.
Space is limited. Prices for the Glen Arbor Clinic are $60 per player or $50 per player if more than one family member is participating. Prices for the Grand Traverse Resort Clinic is $75 per player or $60 per player if more than one family member registers. Club members receive $10 off.
