Michigan League of Conservation Voters discusses Line 5

Michigan League of Conservation Voters (MLCV) executive director Lisa Wozniak and Cherry Republic president Bob Sutherland will discuss the current state of Michigan’s waterways, including the Enbridge Line 5 oil pipeline, in a non-partisan fundraiser at the Cherry Public House in Glen Arbor on Thursday, Aug. 16, from 5-6:30 p.m.

Tickets for “Our Water, Our Vote” are $50 with all proceeds benefiting the MLCV. Cherry Republic is sponsoring the event and will provide complimentary heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks. The Cherry Public House is located at 6026 S. Lake Street in Glen Arbor. Tickets are available at cherryrepublic.com/mlcv.
