League of Women Voters examines “Changing Dynamics of Leelanau County”

The League of Women Voters Leelanau County (LWVLC) will present a seminar titled “The Changing Dynamics of Leelanau County: What are the Opportunities and Challenges in our Corner of Michigan” at noon on Wednesday, June 4, in the lower level public meeting room of the Leelanau County Government Center.

LWVLC committee members Judy Hoeffler, Phil Mikesell, Betty Bushey, Barbara Reinert, Barbara Schneider and Ty Wessel will outline the results of their demographic study and extensive interviews with county officials and others regarding current and future trends in Leelanau County. The public is invited. Many people bring a sack lunch. LWVLC business meeting to follow presentation with special attention given to upcoming LWVLC candidate forums.
