Glen Lake Library holds annual used book sale

The Friends of the Glen Lake Community Library will hold their annual Used Book Sale August 7-9 at the Glen Arbor Township Hall. This three-day fundraising event offers gently used and new books, games, puzzles and recordings. Here is the schedule:

Wednesday, Aug. 7, 7-9 p.m. Preview Party. $5 Donation. This special event gives you the first chance to choose from thousands of hardcover and paperback books, CDs, DVDs, games and puzzles. Refreshments include homemade hors d’oeuvres and sweets.

Thursday, Aug. 8, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Book Sale Free Admission. Open to the public at no charge. Everyone can select from various items at very reasonable prices. Everything is neatly categorized into more than 50 subject areas, including many children’s books.

Friday, Aug. 9, 9 a.m.-noon. Bag Day. Free Admission. This last half day offers the best bargains. Fill a standard grocery bag full of books and pay just $5.
