Condon’s approach to landscape painting takes a fresh, original twist. He abstracts the perspective by flattening farmhouses and fields, and paints in a range of unexpected, vibrant colors not found in the natural world he venerates. Condon works in oil paint, oil pastel and oil stick in both studio and plein air settings.
