Thyme Inn is a lovely American style farmhouse built sometime before 1880. Originally used as a farmers residence it was also a boarding house for lumber jacks when Leelanau County provided lumber to rebuild Chicago after the great fire in 1871. More recently It was the “Brotherton House Antique Shop” until Don and Carol Worsley, your Inkeepers, purchased it in 1997. After many years of restoration it is now a Bed and Breakfast and a Cooking School. At the Thyme Inn you’ll find a relaxed, elegant setting where we help you spend your precious vacation days in the most fulfilling ways. Upon check in, you may want to sip an aperitif in the garden while we schedule your massage, make dinner reservations or help plan a winery tour or other activities.
