Leland’s Old Art Building hosts inaugural Community Tweed Ride

The Old Art Building in Leland will host its inaugural Community Tweed Ride on Saturday, May 4, from 2-4 pm. The free event is sponsored by Suttons Bay Bikes, Dam Candy Store, Cherry Republic and the Leland Lodge. A Tweed Ride is a leisurely, non-competitive bicycle ride where participants don vintage-inspired clothing, often featuring tweed fabrics, plus fours, bowties, and other attire reminiscent of the early 20th century.

Leland Wine and Food Fest returns to Leland Lodge

The Leland Chamber of Commerce will hold the 37th annual Leland Wine and Food Festival on Saturday, June 10, from noon-6 pm. This is Michigan’s oldest wine festival, returning for its second year at the Leland Lodge. This volunteer-organized event is a wonderful opportunity to sample the exceptional local wines and foods that make Leland a culinary and viticultural paradise.
