Leland Wine and Food Fest returns to Leland Lodge

From staff reports

The Leland Chamber of Commerce will hold the 37th annual Leland Wine and Food Festival on Saturday, June 10, from noon-6 pm. This is Michigan’s oldest wine festival, returning for its second year at the Leland Lodge.

This volunteer-organized event is a wonderful opportunity to sample the exceptional local wines and foods that make Leland a culinary and viticultural paradise.

The Festival will feature an impressive lineup of local wineries and breweries, including 45 North Vineyard & Winery, Aurora Cellars, Blustone Vineyards, and Stormcloud Brewery, to name just a few. For food lovers, delicious culinary delights from renowned establishments like Pleva’s, Art’s Tavern, and The Riverside Inn will be offered.

The Leland Wine and Food Festival is not just about wine and food. There is something for everyone. Enjoy the sounds of local musicians Laura Rain and the Ceasars, and FUNKTION, and for our younger guests, there will be face painting provided by The Painted Lady.

This year, the festival offers an exciting new VIP Experience. For just $70 per person, join an exclusive Reserve Tasting in The Leland Lodge Wine Cellar, hosted by Becky Becky Hemmingsen—a certified Sommelier, and presented with pairings from The Cheese Lady. VIP tickets include admission to the festival and two wine-tasting tokens per person. General admission tickets for adults are priced at $30 in advance and $40 at the event.

All proceeds from the festival will be used by the Leland Chamber of Commerce for community beautification projects and visitor information tools.
