Summer Singers seek voices

News

From staff reports

The Summer Singers Community Choir is looking for a few good voices. People who love to sing are invited to join this 40-plus, mixed-voice choir. Weekly rehearsals begin Tuesday, June 18, at 7 p.m.at the Glen Lake Community Reformed Church, 4902 W. MacFarlane Road in Burdickville. There are no auditions. All ages are welcome.

A project of the Glen Arbor Arts Center, the Summer Singers is led by Mimi Gass. The group’s August 13 season-end concert at the church will offer a program of traditional and contemporary musical favorites, and is the final performance in the GAAC’s Manitou Music series. For more information, call Cindy at 248-797-9325.
