Glen Arbor Arts Center holds Small Works Holiday Open House

From staff reports

The Glen Arbor Arts Center (GAAC) hosts a holiday open house on December 5, from 4-6 pm. This celebration is part of Small Works, an exhibition of original art. This holiday show features art work 12×12 inches and smaller, all priced at $150 or less.

Live seasonal music from the Central United Methodist Hand Bell Choir, festive refreshments and a chance to enjoy the exhibition at leisure are features of the open house. Parents can peruse the Small Works exhibition, and work with their children to create holiday gift tags and reindeer food packets with art educator Michele Aucello. The GAAC’s Gratitude Wall will also be on display in the GAAC classroom. This installation features a collection of 6×6-inch canvases with messages of gratitude created by the public.

Small Works continues through December 18. The Glen Arbor Arts Center is located at 6031 S. Lake Street. For more information visit GlenArborArt.org.
