Beginning on the Summer Solstice, Yoga on the Beach and the Friends of Sleeping Bear Dunes are partnering up to offer these outdoor, donation-based yoga classes to the community.

On June 22 the Leelanau Community Cultural Center (LCCC) at the Old Art Building will host a Solstice Celebration to honor the summer sun. The event will also celebrate the installation of the 20-kilowatt rooftop solar system made possible by a $60,000 grant received from All Points North Foundation.

A new comedy-infused wine festival is making its mark in Leelanau County. Hosted by Grand Traverse Events and Uncorrect Comedy, the event pairs local wines with live musical entertainment, wine education experiences and top-notch comedy.
