Sleeping Bear Gallery hosts Michigan glass blowers

Enjoy a unique art experience this weekend at Sleeping Bear Gallery: glass blowing. Michigan Hot Glass, featuring artist Albert Young, will offer free glass blowing demonstrations all day Saturday and Sunday, July 21 and 22.

Bring a chair, sit and relax on the back lawn, and witness how glass is blown at the Sleeping Bear Gallery in downtown Empire.

Sleeping Bear Gallery in uptown Empire features Michigan artists and is located one block west of M-22, in the historic Empire Clipper Building, just a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan in the heart of the award-winning Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Enjoy a collective of unique art including Metals, Wood, Glass, Fibers, Paintings, Sculptures, Ceramics and Photography.Sleeping Bear Gallery is an interactive gallery with guest lectures from featured artists to live demos from Glassblowers, Blacksmiths, Jewelers and more.
