Oryana Natural Foods Market holds Farm Tour to Sweeter Song Farm

Oryana Natural Foods Market is proud to offer the largest selection of locally grown produce in Northern Michigan. This first annual Farm Tour, on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 1-5 p.m., will provide the community with a first-hand look at where some of these delicious, local goods are harvested.
Sweeter Song Farm is a gorgeous 80-acre CSA farm in Leelanau County that has been supplying Oryana with high quality certified organic produce since 2004. The farm boasts 55 acres of protected wetlands, four ponds, 15 acres of cultivated grass, and 10 acres of vegetable and fruit production.
Visitors to the farm in Cedar will meet farmers Judy Reinhardt and Jim Schwantes, take a guided tour, stroll around the farm, enjoy delicious snacks and learn more about organic certification. This event is fun for the whole family.
No RSVP required. No pets, please. Wear closed toe shoes and dress for the elements.
Sweeter Song Farm is located at 4955 S. Schomberg Rd., north of Cedar. Turn right onto County Road 645/Schomberg Road. Stay on Schomberg Rd for approximately 5 miles. Sweeter Song Farm will be on the right, just past Bodus Rd.
