Leland Wine & Food Festival returns to iconic Leland harbor

From staff reports

The Leland Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the return of the 2025 Leland Wine & Food Festival—a celebration of wine, flavor, and community on the shores of Lake Michigan—set against the spectacular backdrop of Leland Harbor on Saturday, June 14. Last year’s event was canceled. This highly anticipated summer tradition brings together the best of Northern Michigan’s wines, craft beers, and gourmet cuisine in one unforgettable lakeside experience.

Featuring 13 of Leelanau Peninsula’s premier wineries, the festival offers an exceptional opportunity to sample world-class wines while enjoying live music, local flavors, and panoramic views of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands. The wine experience is perfectly complemented by a lineup of outstanding local food vendors, including: Locals Lake Leelanau, Pleva’s Meats, Village Cheese Shanty, Peninsula Provisions, The Cove, and The Riverside Inn.

Guests can also enjoy craft beer from Grand Armory Brewing, and live performances from top regional artists: DJ RAS MARCO D, DUFFY KING, SARENA RAE, and KAT ORLANDO will keep the crowd moving all day long.

With ‘Come & Go’ re-entry wristbands, festivalgoers can step out to explore Historic Fishtown, nearby beaches, shops, and galleries—then return for more tastings and entertainment.

Tickets cost $35 in advance and $45 at the gate. Entry includes a commemorative wine glass, two wine-tasting tokens, and an option to upgrade with 10 additional tokens for $30. Must be 21+ to attend (non-alcoholic options available). Food and beer purchases are cash-only. Tickets are available here.

Participating wineries include: Amoritas Winery, Aurora Cellars, Baia Estates, Bel Lago Winery, Blustone Vineyards, Boathouse Vineyards, Chateau Fontaine, Dune Bird Winery, French Valley Vineyard, Good Harbor Vineyards, Laurentide Winery, Shady Lane Cellars, and Verterra Winery.

“The Leland Chamber of Commerce and the Wine Fest Committee are thrilled to bring the Leland Wine and Food Festival back to the Harbor this year,” said Leland chamber president Mark Morton. “Pairing the world-class wines and cuisine of Leelanau County with the stunning backdrop of Lake Michigan at the Leland Harbor is an experience that is truly beyond words. We are so grateful for all the help and hard work that has made this possible.”
