The Leland Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the return of the 2025 Leland Wine & Food Festival—a celebration of wine, flavor, and community on the shores of Lake Michigan—set against the spectacular backdrop of Leland Harbor on Saturday, June 14. Last year’s event was canceled. This highly anticipated summer tradition brings together the best of Northern Michigan’s wines, craft beers, and gourmet cuisine in one unforgettable lakeside experience.

The Empire Asparagus Festival—originally scheduled for May 15-16 in downtown Empire—has been canceled, festival organizer Paul Skinner told the Glen Arbor Sun. Other popular Leelanau County events have postponed until the fall. The Cedar Polka Festival will be moved from mid-June to September 17-20, 2020.

Leland holds its 33th annual Wine & Food Festival on Saturday, June 9, from noon until 6 p.m. in Fishtown. Enjoy tasting local award-winning wines from 12 Leelanau Peninsula wineries and one local brewery, delicious specialties from eight local food vendors while soaking up beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands from the Leland Harbor venue.
