Leland hosts Tree Lighting, PJ party, Shop Local event

Light up Leland for the holidays on Wednesday, Nov. 21, at 5:30 p.m. The event begins with the lighting of the tree at Christmas Tree Corner followed by Santa riding in a fire engine to the Village Green where you can enjoy more tree lighting, caroling, treats and time with Santa.

Leland’s annual PJ party and sale is Friday, Nov. 23, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Enjoy special early-bird discounts from 8-10 a.m. Fantastic Sales continue all day. Fill out your holiday wish list at Leland shops. Join in the fun, and shop in your Pjs. Make a day of it with great sales, ambience, and wonderful options for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Shop local, shop small on Saturday, Nov. 24. Eight years ago “Small Business Saturday” was first observed—sandwiched between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Small Business Saturday invites and encourages people everywhere to shop at small businesses for just one day, and make a big difference.
