From staff reports

Leland holds its 33th annual Wine & Food Festival on Saturday, June 9, from noon until 6 p.m. in Fishtown.

Summer bliss starts here. Enjoy tasting local award-winning wines from 12 Leelanau Peninsula wineries and one local brewery, delicious specialties from eight local food vendors while soaking up beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands from the Leland Harbor venue. The “Come & Go” re-entry wristbands allow you to explore Leland’s beaches, unique shops, galleries and Historic Fishtown, and then return for more festival fun—as often as you like.

The festival features all-day entertainment and non-stop live music. Bad Jam takes the stage from noon-3 p.m. Then fun-loving TC Knuckleheads play great rhythm and blues, classic and new rock and country from 3-6 p.m. Artist booths at the festival include: Dune Grass Designs, Northpoint Studio, Wine Girl Clothing and Bos Exposures.

Adult tickets cost $15 in advance or $25 at the event. Buy them at LelandMI.com/events/wine-food-festival. Tickets include a commemorative glass and two wine tasting tokens. Non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
