Leelanau Women Artists hosts annual spring show in Northport

The Leelanau Women Artists will host a member’s show of paintings, jewelry, handwoven clothing, home accessories, fused glass and basketry, June 22-23, at the Northport Arts Association at 301 Mills Street in Northport. An opening reception with the artists is Friday, June 22, from 5-7 p.m. The show is open Saturday, June 23, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Leelanau Women Artists was founded in 2010 to promote Leelanau County women in the arts through education, exhibition, professional development and documentation. The Leelanau Women Artists work together to support the art community and encourage one another.
Exhibitors in the June show are: Nancy Doughty, basketry; Catherine Siterlet, handwoven clothing and home accessories; Andrea Warren, fused glass; Renie Cutler and Pam Peplinski, jewelry; and Jane Batteiger, Linda Alice Dewey, Jane Ditri, Kay Doyle, Susan Fehrenbach, Marilyn King and Sally Wille; paintings.
