From staff reports

The Glen Lake Library in Empire will celebrate National Library Week, April 11 to 16, hosting two special presentations. On Monday, April 11 at 7 p.m., the library will present Bridge of Spies, the new historical thriller starring Tom Hanks, and set during the height of the Cold War. There is no charge for this screening, and popcorn will be provided. On Thursday, April 14, also at 7 p.m., the library will host a presentation by Kelly Kieft and Scott Mills, of Polyculture Kombucha, a new business in Maple City. The couple will describe the history, science and health benefits of probiotic fermented foods.
