Glen Arbor Art Association features Duncan Sprattmoran

The Glen Arbor Art Association hosts an exhibition of work by Traverse City artist Duncan Sprattmoran, July 5-7, at the Art Association, 6031 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor, across from Cherry Republic.

Sprattmoran has taught for many years at The Pathfinder School. He is also an accomplished artist, whose work is marked by vivid color, expressive brushwork, and a playful sense of place. Sprattmoran earned a BA from Evergreen State College and has an MFA in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College. He has studied art history as well as color theory and composition. He has works in private and corporate collections across the country and has participated in many exhibitions in the Northern Michigan.

Exhibition hours are: July 5, 6-9 p.m. (opening reception); July 6, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; July 7, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. For more information please call (231) 334-6112.
