Celebrate Earth Day with Inland Seas

Join Inland Seas Educational Association, the Leelanau Conservancy, Leo Creek Preserve, Leelanau Conservation District, Grand Traverse Stewardship Initiative, Northport Energy and Leelanau Montessori for an afternoon of Earth Day activities on Sunday, April 22, from 1-4 p.m.

The celebration will include a biochar demo, a conifer excursion and a nature scavenger hunt; 100 kids can make and take oyster mushroom totems, 100 conifer seedlings will be given away.

Parking is available at the Leelanau Trailhead, Fourth St. in Suttons Bay.  Walk south on the trail 100 yards. For questions contact Kate Thornhill at leocreekpreserve (AT) gmail (DOT) com.
