Teachings of the natural world

Upcoming Event

From staff reports

Traverse City painter Lori Feldpausch’s “greatest teacher” has been the natural world — on full display in her exhibition at Center Gallery, 6023 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor. This show of plein air and studio paintings opens July 31 with a 6 p.m. artist’s reception.

Feldpausch’s goal is to capture the light her subjects reflect. Although known for her landscape paintings, Feldpausch has begun to insert human figures into these scenes inspired by the natural world. This exhibition continues through Aug. 6. For more information please call 231-334-3179.
