Wings of Wonder invites the public to its next raptor release at Little Traverse Inn, north of Glen Arbor on M-22. Three young Eastern Screech Owls will be released on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 8 p.m. A trio of attendees will have the opportunity to do the actual release.
Rebecca Lessard and Wings of Wonder will release a large Bald Eagle on Saturday, May 28 at the Empire Eagle’s Club property (the old Dunegrass Festival field) eight miles east of Empire, on M-72. The public is invited to attend this grand event, which begins at 11 a.m.
