Currie’s Furniture in Traverse City recently donated 10 new, high-quality bed mattresses to the Glen Lake Fire Department—six for the Glen Arbor crew and four for Empire. The double-sided mattresses, which are made in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, cost approximately $330 each.
