The Glen Arbor Players present “A Pair of Spades,” two short plays with the archetypal detective Sam Spade at the center of all that’s criminal. Performances are Oct. 5-6, at 7:30 pm at the Glen Lake Community Reformed Church, 4902 W. MacFarlane Road, Burdickville. Admission is free; no reservations are required.

The Glen Arbor Arts Center’s Glen Arbor Players (formerly Readers’ Theater) head back in time to Hollywood of the ’50s in its next production, “Sunset Boulevard”. Performances are June 1-2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Glen Lake Community Reformed Church, located at 4902 W. MacFarlane Road in Burdickville. The performance is free.

The Glen Arbor Art Association (GAAA) Readers’ Theater will hold auditions for On Golden Pond, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. at the Glen Lake Community Reformed Church, 4902 W. MacFarlane Road in Burdickville. The Readers’ Theater production offers roles for three men, three women and one teenage boy.
