Sleeping Bear Surf and Kayak holds SBX Waterman Camp

Sleeping Bear Surf and Kayak’s fifth annual SBX Waterman camp is an over-the-top successful Surf and Waterman camp designed and taught by water enthusiasts to create water enthusiasts. You will not find a more fun-filled, unique camp in this area.

The day camp has a strong emphasis on the importance of outdoor activity and helps instill a respect for the environment. The camp is focused on enjoying the amazing diverse landscape we call home. Every day a new adventure awaits according to the weather: Surfing, Skimming, Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP), Kayaking, SUP-SQUATCHING, Snorkeling, Free-diving, Water Safety Skills and Hiking.

With the team of highly-skilled, water-enthused, positive counselors, not one child feels left out and all campers receive the encouragement and help that they so need in order to take full advantage of what the camp and all activities offer. Campers will leave with a knowledge in the basics of becoming a Waterman as well as skills in all activities we teach and an abundance of happy memories to take home!
