Shop Small, Eat Local in Glen Arbor

From staff reports

Batter up! Step up to the plate and take a swing during Glen Arbor’s season opener. The “Shop Small, Eat Local” campaign takes place May 20-22.

“Batter Cards” will be available at M22 Glen Arbor and Cottonseed Apparel. Take your card around town and “run the bases” while supporting local businesses and seeing what’s new and open for the season. Stop by any six participating businesses in the area to see if you can hit a home run. Purchases are encouraged but not required. First, second and third place winners will be selected to receive “Glen Arbor Bucks.”

Here’s how it works:

The card has six spaces (or bases) to get stamped. As you spend the weekend in Glen Arbor, ask local businesses to stamp your card. Purchases are encouraged but not required during this “shop small, eat local” campaign. Once all six bases have been stamped, participants should drop off their completed batter card to M22 Glen Arbor or Cottonseed.

No more than two cards per person. Three winners will be selected to receive “Glen Arbor Bucks.” Winners will be announced via the Glen Lake Chamber’s social media pages and email newsletter.
