Parenting Communities hosts street fair for Leelanau families
From staff reports
Parenting Communities is hosting a family Street Fair on Saturday, July 16, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at Leelanau Montessori School Campus in Lake Leelanau.
Parenting Communities is proud to offer this free event for Leelanau County families to come together to listen to music, participate in a variety of fun family-friendly activities (e.g., face painting, crafts, etc.), and connect with our Parenting Communities team and other Leelanau families and resources. Antojitos and Forever Yum food trucks will be on-site to provide food and ice cream for purchase.
“Parenting Communities is excited to have an event whose offerings are geared toward families with young children,” said Autumn Jurek, Supervisor of the Parenting Communities program. “We look forward to seeing familiar faces, and meeting new families, too! We are especially grateful to Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy for sharing their beautiful campus for this event, and for their ongoing collaboration with and support of the Parenting Communities program.”
The Parenting Communities Street Fair is located at 7401 E. Duck Lake Rd, Lake Leelanau. This event is funded by the Leelanau Early Childhood Millage for Leelanau County families. For more information about this event, visit www.bldhd.org/Parenting-communities.
