Lake Leelanau holds 10th annual Provemont Holiday Arts and Crafts Show

Upcoming Event

From staff reports

The 10th annual Lake Leelanau Provemont Holiday Arts and Crafts Show will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 am to 3 pm. This year’s art fair, sponsored by the Lake Leelanau Community Association, will be held at St. Mary’s school, 303 St. Mary Street, just off M204 (Duck Lake Road) in the heart of Lake Leelanau. There is still room for more wonderful artisans, please email Patricia Soutas-Little at psoutaslittle@icloud.com for an application.

Beautiful artwork and crafts from over 50 artisans from around the state. New to the Holiday Mart this year is the addition of local food vendor booths from Nittolos, Fiddleheads and Hannah’s.  Also new are fun arts and crafts projects to keep our very youngest shoppers.  Local 4-H Leaders will offer fun 4-H giveaways, card making and several easy craft kits to make there with children or grandchildren, or take for a great at-home activity.

A line up of local musicians is also a new addition to this year’s event and include a local pianist, Leelanau Flute Ensemble, Prevailing Winds and Suttons Bay Celtic providing lively holiday music all day.  Lastly, a very special visit from Santa will happen at 1 pm.

What a great way to kick off the holiday season right here in the heart of Leelanau County supporting local artisans.  Come meet the musicians, vendors and artists, and find that perfect holiday special gift for friends and everyone in your family—from the youngest member to the oldest.

All proceeds from the art and crafts fair support beautification projects in Lake Leelanau.
