Glen Lake Woman’s Club holds 44th annual Art Fair

The Glen Lake Woman’s Club holds its 44th annual Glen Arbor Art Fair on Wednesday, July 15, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Glen Arbor Town Hall. This event hosts 100 artists carefully chosen to represent most areas of the art world. Applications can be obtained by emailing glwcartfair@gmail.com.

The art fair began in front of the Town Hall and expanded to include both the inside and the outside — a great place for this activity. Lunch is available including our famous ”walking tacos”. Scholarship recipients assist by carrying supplies, giving breaks to the exhibitors, and helping with the concessions. Attendance tops 2,000, making this one of the busiest days of the year in Glen Arbor. The Art Fair has become a day around which to plan vacations. There is no charge for admission.

All profits are used for scholarships. More than $15,000 was given last year.
