Glen Arbor Sun expands throughout Leelanau

This year the Glen Arbor Sun will launch a special 4-page “Get to Know Leelanau” guide, which we’ll include in each of our 12 printed editions between mid-May and Christmas.

For 22 years this free, full-color biweekly magazine has been a go-to guide for hundreds of thousands of visitors each year to the Sleeping Bear Dunes — among the first stops for tourists visiting Leelanau.

Our website, GlenArbor.com, attracts tens of thousands of unique page views per month, and hundreds each day.

Now we plan to expand distribution of the Sun to retail locations throughout the County, from Glen Arbor east to Suttons Bay, and Empire up to Lake Leelanau, Leland and Northport.

Each “Get to Know Leelanau” guide will include:

• a local business feature

• a profile on a local character

• a recreation or outdoors story

• an upcoming event preview• a calendar of “can’t miss” upcoming events
