Glen Arbor Chili Cook-Off on, Perch Fishing canceled

You’re invited to Winterfest in Glen Arbor. The Chili Cook-Off will be on the deck at Boonedocks on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 12-3 pm, or until the chili runs out. This sizzling event promises a flavorful showdown and celebration of winter in Northern Michigan! Dress for the weather.

Admission to the chili cook-off is $10 per person, which includes unlimited chili samples. $5 for kids ages 6-12 and seniors 70+, kids under 6 enter for free.

The Chili Cook-Off lineup includes the following entries: Bear Paw Pizza, Boonedocks, Art’s. Hanson’s Foods – Tom Pleva, Alpers Excavating, Cherry Republic, M22 Clinic, Fleis Education Foundation, Shipwreck Cafe, Andersons Market, Mel & Fell, Glen Lake Community Schools, Good Harbor Grill, Glen Lake Marine – Jeff Gardner, Joe’s Friendly Tavern, and The Mill.

Due to the current conditions and weather forecast, the Perch Fishing Contest has been canceled.
