Glen Arbor Art Association features Kaufman

Studio painter and muralist Conrad Kaufman talks about his artist’s residency with the Glen Arbor Art Association (GAAA) Sept. 24, 7:30 p.m. at the GAAA, 6031 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor.

Kaufman, a resident of Galesburg, Mich., a studio painter, used his two-week residency to explore plein air work, focusing on the region’s color and natural light. He goal was to develop sketches and field notes for future compositions.

As part of the AIR program, artists were asked to make a public presentation at the end of their residency. For more information, please all 231/334-6112 or visit the GAAA website to read about all the GAAA’s artist residents, GlenArborArt.org.
