Empire holds artisan marketplace and tree lighting

Empire holds its fifth annual Artisan Marketplace on Saturday, Nov. 24 from noon-5 p.m. at the Township Hall. This is an excellent opportunity to shop local for your Christmas gifts.

Expect to find truly unique, quality, do-it-yourself crafts across many mediums that are created and offered by local artists. There will be a broad price range on everything from wall art to housewares to wearables, with something for everyone. A community raffle will include an item donated by each artist. The Empire Eagles will supply lunch. The village tree lighting ceremony will take place at dusk, with local stores remaining open until 7 p.m. and serving refreshments and treats.
