Empire Emergency Fund concert features Dungjens

Mark your calendars for the next Empire Area Community Emergency Fund Concert on Sunday, March 29, from 4-6 p.m. at Art’s Tavern in Glen Arbor.

This will be a very special performance by featured artists Sue and Bill Dungjen.

To date, reports president Gerry Shiffman, the Empire Area Community Center has administered more than $50,000 in direct assistance to countless families in the greater community to pay outstanding bills as well as negotiating over $11,000 of adjusted contributions to settle outstanding accounts.

This combined with thousands of volunteer hours has helped to bring much comfort, hope and sustainability throughout our community.
