The Glen Arbor Arts Center offers a fairy house building day Sunday, May 26, 1–3 pm at the GAAC, 6031 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor. Instructor Michelle Auchello leads the workshop. Cost is $20 per fairy house.
On Sunday, May 26, from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Empire, the Guadalupan Torch Committee will provide delicious homemade Mexican food for sale to dine in or take out.

With the Leelanau Conservancy’s Wildflower Rescue Plant Sale just 10 days away, volunteers were on a mission to dig 500 trillium plants in just over an hour. Four workers met up in Northport to car-pool to the Garthe Farm, where owners Gene and Kathy Garthe met them with open arms.
