Boucher, Kroll voted co-presidents of Glen Lake Chamber

Business Feature

From staff reports

Sue Boucher, owner of the Cottage Book Shop, and Connie Kroll of Century 21 Northland Real Estate and Northland Vacation Rentals, were voted co-presidents at the Glen Lake Chamber meeting on May 8. The Chamber is passionately dedicated to promoting the area, its businesses and providing visitors with resources before, during and after their visit.

“As busy business owners, we decided to be co-presidents, to share the needed responsibility,” said Boucher. “With a smaller elected community, we think the Chamber will now be able to more easily implement changes, get things approved and make decisions efficiently. We always extend an open invitation to the greater community to weigh in and attend.”

The Chamber’s leadership committee expressed deep gratitude for recent past president and treasurer Jeff Gietzen, owner of Northwoods Hardware Home & Garden. The Chamber also welcomes new board members, Katy Wiesen of Crystal River Outfitters and Larry Widmayer of Glen Arbor Bed & Breakfast.
