Winter Fun!

Empire will hold its famed Winterfest on Feb. 13-15 (visit www.empirechamber.com for information), and Glen Arbor will hold its own frigid fiesta on Saturday, Feb. 14 with a perch-fishing contest from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a chili cook-off at noon on the deck at Boone Docks.

The Glen Arbor Sun is in hibernation until Memorial Day weekend, or at least until we can get the car unburied long enough to make it to the printer’s and back.

We’ll kick off the 2009 season in late May with local news, features on local characters, events and letters from afar.
