WARM WEATHER + LOTS OF SNOW = FUN!
The entire trail from Empire to Port Oneida Road was groomed yesterday.
Palmer Woods was also groomed yesterday.
We do not groom from Port Oneida Road to Bohemian Road (CR-669) because much of the trail in this section is very close to M-22 and snowplows throw sand and salt on the trail.

You can ski from the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail to Palmer Woods using Hyland Road (near the Homestead) and Darwin Road. These are seasonal roads and are not plowed in winter. We run the groomer up these roads to get to Palmer Woods, so they are also groomed.
