Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail Ready for Cross-Country Skiing
From staff reports
Kerry Kelly, chairman of the board at Friends of Sleeping Bear Dunes, reports on December 22 that new overnight snow has enabled the nonprofit to groom the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail for both classic and cross-country skate skiing.
The whole trail from Glen Arbor to the Dune Climb is groomed and in excellent condition, reports Kelly. More snow means some soft powder over the groomed trail. The trail will be groomed again next week to keep it fresh. Stay tuned for changes in conditions, and get out there and ski.
