Sitting pretty at Leelanau Vacation Rentals

This chair, located in front of the Leelanau Vacation Rentals office on the sidewalk across from the Glen Arbor tennis courts, encourages people to stop, take their photo with it, and take home a little reminder of Glen Arbor.

According to Ranae Ihme (seated on the right), the idea came while on a weekend getaway to Door County, Wisc. “We found a business that had a big rocking chair, and our son Neil insisted we get our photo all together on it. When we got home I talked to my father, who owns Sheffer Construction, and told him he needed to build me an Adirondack chair that can hold an entire family — and that he did! I hope this chair brings fun memories of vacationing in Glen Arbor!”
