Northwoods Hardware hires Borodychuk as new GM
From staff reports
Northwoods Hardware, Home, Garden & Nursery has hired Chad Borodychuk as its new general manager. He will assume the leadership reins from current owner Jeff Gietzen.
“He has a clear understanding of what it takes to run a successful retail business,” said Gietzen. “It’s all about the people, product, and community you are serving, and I could not be more pleased to hand the leadership mantle over to him and see where he takes Northwoods in the future.”
Borodychuk previously directed the Business & Community Institute, a workforce development organization providing training, coaching, and consulting to companies and organizations throughout the greater Lansing area. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and a Master’s in Business Administration. While Borodychuk has other experience in areas such as systems administration, construction, account management, and real estate, his greatest passion and dedication is found in customer service.
Borodychuk and his wife Lisa, along with son Oliver, have created many special memories in Glen Arbor and have grown to love the Glen Arbor area and surrounding communities.
“Coming on board with Northwood’s isn’t a job for me or our family, it’s an opportunity to be the best we can be for an exceptional community of people, it’s pursuing a passion, it’s a better life, and it’s an opportunity for our family to serve yours,” he said.
