Grocer’s Daughter Chocolate celebrates 20 years with a birthday bash

Grocer’s Daughter Chocolate, renowned for its ethically sourced, craft chocolate confections and gelato, is thrilled to announce its 20th birthday party on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 11 am-5 pm at the chocolate shop in quaint Empire. All are welcome to join in this milestone event honoring two decades of Grocer’s Daughter’s favorite things; delicious, ethically sourced chocolate and a wonderful community of friends from around the globe.
Make plans now for this unforgettable day filled with fun activities and delicious treats! The day-long celebration includes:
- Free local hot dogs from Louie’s, Noon until 2 (or until they run out)
- Book Reading/Signing by Brianne Farley, 2 pm
- Special flavors of gelato and sorbet available from the scoop case
- Last chance to purchase a ‘Donut Forget to Vote’ seasonal truffles
- S’mores around the fire, weather permitting
- Special guests: Meet founder, Mimi Wheeler, and owners, Jody & DC Hayden to hear the inspiring story of Daughter Chocolate’s journey from a small chocolate shop to a beloved brand. Join GDC staff and sourcing partners Jenny Samaniego and Mario Remache from Conexion Chocolate to learn about the realities of cacao farming/sourcing and operating a craft chocolate business.
