Glen Lake Restaurant Week returns, food trucks to come in May

Upcoming Event

From staff reports

The seventh annual Glen Lake Restaurant Week offers an array of dining around Glen Arbor, the week before Mother’s Day. Whether you plan to dine-in or take-out, enjoy mouthwatering experiences from “French fries to French cuisine” Friday, April 29-Saturday, May 7.

Participants will each offer their own special three-course, prix-fixe dinner menus (with some offering lunch too). Contact each establishment to find out their hours of operation, and whether they recommend reservations or call to place a carry-out order. Event details, list of participants & menus can be found on visitglenarbor.com. Follow the event on Facebook at: Facebook.com/eatglenarbor.

Glen Lake Restaurant Week is organized by the Glen Lake Chamber. This year’s event sponsors include Glen Arbor Bed & Breakfast and Cottages and Gordon Food Service.

Glen Arbor’s dining scene in 2022 will also include two food trucks opening in late May on the vacant lot next to the former Riverfont Pizza & Deli, which was acquired last year by Katy and Matt Wiesen, owners of the Crystal Rver Outfitters Recreational District.

“We are very excited about this opportunity as it will allow customers to find unique and quality food options during the summer and fall seasons,” said Katy Wiesen.

The Wiesens hope to reimagine and reopen the Riverfront space this fall. Stay tuned for more news about their food trucks coming soon to Glen Arbor’s Recreational District.
