Glen Arbor holds WinterFest

Winterfest2009-1Glen Arbor will heat up (well, kind of) for WinterFest 2010, to be held on Saturday, Feb. 13. A Perch Fishing Contest is scheduled for 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. And don’t miss the Chili Cook-off on the deck at Boone Docks, from noon until the chili is gone … and winter hibernation resumes.

The winners from last year’s WinterFest were:

• Traditional Chili Winners, 1st place: Dave Moffat & Paul Kokowicz, 2nd place: Glen Lake Schools

• Non-traditional Chili Winners, 1st place: Boone Dock’s, 2nd place: blu

• Perch Fishing Contest Winner, Jason Gibson (12,7/8″ perch)
